First time visited the place, had strawberry banana pancakes, and Mediterranean omelette - it was super delicious! Sam was amazing to talk to and suggested some great places for dinner. The waterfront view from the restaurant is amazing!!
Enjoyed an excellent breakfast while watching sea planes taking off and landing. He had the Boer’s Breakfast (a bit of everything) and I had the hash. Delicious food and coffee. Fresh squeezed orange juice. It was fun to try some Dutch foods like the Pannenkoek and DeBakon. The sour bread toast was so good. Our server Sam was a delight. Wish I could eat at a De Dutch all the time, buts a bit of a trek from Kentucky USA. Thanks for a great meal!
Had an absolutely delightful brunch today at De Dutch with my husband! We each ordered a different dish and were both thoroughly impressed. My husband especially enjoyed the texture of the bread — perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside — and loved the combination of avocado with the Benedict eggs. As for me, I couldn’t get enough of the roasted mushrooms and crispy diced potatoes — simple ingredients, but packed with flavor. What truly made our experience even more enjoyable was the warm and thoughtful service from Sam. He was incredibly kind, attentive without being intrusive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. His friendly presence really elevated the entire meal. Without a doubt, this was the most enjoyable meal we've had on our trip to Vancouver so far. Fresh, flavorful, and served with heart — thank you, De Dutch and Sam, for the wonderful experience!
We were recommended to come here and had a wonderful experience! We were promptly seated but told there was a hold on orders because the kitchen was busy. However, we were able to order a few minutes later and overall it did not take long at all. Our server, Sam, was awesome! He was very attentive and friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious and the view of the harbor was stunning.
Good food and very nice people! We support business like this, something that serves qualify food and service. Will definitely be back if we are visit YVR again; highly recommended.
My favourite place for brunch! Had my birthday party in their private dinning room and the service was great. Food was hot and delicious as always. If you’ve never had De Dutch I highly recommend this spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch!
Amazing pancakes, super fast service, a very nice waiter, and a great atmosphere, with a great harbour view. The prices are about average.
A busy place yet it still keeps things on the rails. Our server was friendly and checked in on us the perfect amount of times. My Dutch French toast was visually as good as it tasted. The omelet was tasty too.
